BI Specialist

In the role you will perform the following tasks:

  • Create Power BI reports/ dashboards
  • Publish and schedule Power BI reports as per the business requirements
  • Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications 
  • Document the source, content, connection methods, and description of business value of data sources
  • Document, design, and code business logic for dataset
  • Coordinate and conduct meetings such as: user interviews of business process reviews; gathering of data use case requirements

 

What we are looking for:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science/Information System/Economics or other equivalent experience
  • Experience in analytics, data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects
  • Knowledge of BI tools (e.g. preferably Power BI and Spotfire, Qlik, Tableau,)
  • Active English knowledge
  • Agile way of thinking
  • Adaptive and responsive to change

 

Advantages:

  • Experienced in SQL, DAX and M languages
  • Deep understanding of database fundamentals, including relational database design
  • Expertise in secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, Visual Studio, etc.  
  • Skills in Python programming language
  • Economical, accounting background
